i can relate to this on my worst days…. but them i remember what my old jamaican grandpa likes to say about love “every hoe has its stick in the bush”. lol (i secretly have no idea what that actually means … but i understand it ) everyone’s got that someone….its just a matter of finding them.
This is Nick Hornby’s new book, Juliet, Naked. I read it extraordinarily quickly. The last time I had the feeling of wanting to devour one of his books was when I read High Fidelity long, long ago in London.
Certainly worth getting from your local library. His opinions on relationships, music and hero worship are unique and always welcome in my brain. And I just read he’s almost finished an album with Ben Folds. I wonder if he wrote all the lyrics and Ben did all the music? Must investigate.

I just bought a ticket to vt for the weekend.
I haven’t asked my mom permission. I don’t really need it, but this is the first time i’ve ever just wanted to do something and did it without a second thought. I’m really excited.
i saw this film this morning .. it was so toughing. It takes place under the taliban regime in Afghanistan. Under the “talib” women are not to be on the streets at anytime without a male escort. The film tells the story of a young girl. Her male relative were victims if several wars and she finds that she had to dress as a boy as a means to get some work so she and her family don’t starve to death.
